2nd arr. · Bourse & Sentier
From the covered passages to the edges of the Opéra, a Paris made for walking and late dinners.
The 2nd is the smallest arrondissement in Paris, and one of the richest in stories. On rue Vivienne, the Galerie Vivienne keeps its mosaics and its glass roof; further on, the Palais Brongniart recalls that the stock exchange once beat here. From rue Sainte-Anne, the Opéra lies one way and the gardens of the Palais-Royal the other. In between: the nineteenth-century passages, the tables of the Sentier and rue Montorgueil. Our apartments in the 2nd are on these two streets, Vivienne and Sainte-Anne. You come home in the evening as you would to your own address, at the centre of everything.
