Paris with the Family: the Right Home for Children and Grandparents

When three generations travel together, the place you stay decides half the pleasure of the journey. Three neighbourhoods in the heart of Paris, and what matters for a family.
Indian families rarely travel alone. Parents, children, sometimes the grandparents too. So the question in Paris is not how big the hotel is, but how everyone can stay together, in comfort. Our answer is simple: an apartment, in the right neighbourhood.
What a family needs
In a hotel, a family often has to book two or three rooms, sometimes on different floors. In an apartment, there is a single home.
- · A room for everyone. Our apartments have two to four bedrooms, and space for up to eight people depending on the apartment.
- · A place to sit together. A large living room and a dining table, where the whole family gathers in the evening.
- · A kitchen of your own. A fully equipped kitchen, so that the children's meals, morning tea and home-style food can be made your way.
- · Easy mornings. In many apartments, as many bathrooms as bedrooms.
- · Cool in the heat. All the apartments are air-conditioned, which matters a great deal in summer for grandparents and young children.
Almost all our apartments have a high chair for children, and several have a cot as well: tell us your children's ages and we will suggest the apartment that has everything you need.
Three neighbourhoods, three temperaments
ACT 3 chooses its addresses across Paris, one by one. Three neighbourhoods in the heart of the city, seen through a family's eyes:
Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Perhaps the most pleasant for families with young children. The Luxembourg garden is nearby: rows of trees, ponds and open space, where children can play in the morning and the grown-ups can rest on a bench.
The Upper Marais. A neighbourhood of old mansions and museums. Here is the small garden of the Square du Temple, and the Musée des Arts et Métiers, where old machines and inventions delight children too.
The 2nd arrondissement. Right in the centre of the city. The Opéra, the Palais-Royal gardens and the great department stores are close by. In the old glass-roofed covered passages, strolling is easy even on a rainy day.

Travelling with grandparents
When travelling with grandparents, what matters most is less fatigue. That is why we choose neighbourhoods where most things are close on foot: cafés, bakeries, a pharmacy, a garden. Visit one or two places a day, then come back to the apartment to rest. The apartment is run like a hotel, but it feels like home.
Before and during the trip
Our concierge is available seven days a week, and the team can be reached at any time. An airport transfer, a restaurant table (including addresses with vegetarian options), or a last-minute need: just let us know.
When you book direct, you get the best available rate with no service fees added to the price, you deal with the same team from the first message to departure, and cancellation is free more than 30 days before arrival.

Live the city, not a hotel.
