A Honeymoon in Paris, from the Inside

A Honeymoon in Paris, from the Inside

On a honeymoon, Paris is lived as much in the apartment as outside it. Choose the address, prepare the great moments, leave the rest to the streets.

A honeymoon is unlike any other journey. You do not come to see as much as possible, but to spend time together, in a city better suited to it than almost any other. What matters then is less the itinerary than the place you return to each evening.

Choose a place, not a room

On a honeymoon, you spend more time at home than you expect. Mornings that begin late, a breakfast made without hurry, an afternoon rest before going out again, a bottle opened in the living room before dinner. A hotel room lends itself poorly to all of this; an apartment does not.

Ours were chosen one by one for their address, their building and their interiors. All are air-conditioned, with an equipped kitchen and living spaces you want to linger in. They are run like a hotel: premium linen, a personal welcome, a dedicated concierge seven days a week, a team you can reach at any hour. Not a hotel. Not a residence.

A neighbourhood for every temperament

Saint-Germain-des-Prés, for slow mornings: coffee on a terrace, the bookshops, the Luxembourg garden, the banks of the Seine at the end of the day.

The Upper Marais, for couples who love art and evenings out: mansions turned museums, galleries, the Place des Vosges, tables and bars within a few steps.

The 2nd, for lovers of the stage: the covered passages, the gardens of the Palais-Royal and the Opéra Garnier, all within walking distance.

Our apartments are chosen in the heart of Paris, and our neighbourhood guides introduce each of our addresses.

The moments to prepare

Some things cannot be improvised, and that is where the concierge steps in, even before you arrive.

  • · A great table. For a dinner that marks the trip, the best tables are booked early. Tell us what you would like, and we take care of it.
  • · The Seine at night. A private cruise, as the city lights up and the Eiffel Tower sparkles. The concierge arranges it on request, tailored to you; the rate is confirmed according to the service.
  • · A market, then the kitchen. The Marché des Enfants Rouges in the Marais, rue Montorgueil in the 2nd: shop in the morning, lunch at the apartment.
  • · The arrival. An airport transfer, so that your first memory is not a taxi queue.

Leave the rest to chance

The best of a stay in Paris cannot be booked: a courtyard found open by chance, a terrace in the sun, a street you will never find again. A good honeymoon leaves room for that. Two or three prepared moments a day at most, and the rest to the city.

To choose your apartment, browse the collection. Our piece on Paris neighbourhoods for two describes each of them. And if you have a particular request, write to us.
