A Long Stay in Paris: Living Rather Than Lodging

A Long Stay in Paris: Living Rather Than Lodging

Beyond a week, you no longer visit Paris: you live in it. What a long stay asks of a place, and why an apartment run like a hotel answers it better than a room.

There comes a moment in a long stay when you stop being a visitor. You have your habits at the café, a favourite way home, a Saturday market. It often happens in the second week. From then on, what you expect of a place changes entirely.

What a long stay asks for

A room is enough for a few nights. For several weeks, you need a real home: a table to work at, a room to receive in, a kitchen where you actually cook, storage so you no longer live out of a suitcase. You also need calm, pleasant light at every hour, and the possibility of closing a door.

Our apartments were chosen with that in mind: a prime address, a building with character, considered design, and equipment that holds up to daily life. Two to four bedrooms, all air-conditioned, with an equipped kitchen and, in several of them, as many bathrooms as bedrooms.

The neighbourhood as a place to live

On a long stay, the address matters more than anything. It is no longer a starting point for the monuments; it is where life takes place.

ACT 3 chooses its addresses in the heart of Paris, in lively neighbourhoods made for walking, where the shops and the markets quickly become habits. Our neighbourhood guides introduce each one, so you can choose the quarter before the apartment.

Week by week, you learn the neighbourhood's hours: the bakery that opens first, the terrace that keeps the sun late in the day, the street that stays quiet on Sundays. You have friends over for dinner, bring flowers back from the market, leave a book open on the table. The apartment becomes the setting of an ordinary life, which is precisely what you came for.

An intimate relationship with Paris, one neighbourhood at a time.

The service, without the hotel

What long-term rentals often lack is someone to speak to. With us, the stay keeps the service of a hotel: a personal welcome, premium linen, a dedicated concierge seven days a week and a team you can reach at any hour. A problem in the apartment, a table to book, a transfer for a trip away and back: simply write to us.

The same point of contact follows you from the first message to departure. Over several weeks, that continuity makes all the difference.

Planning a long stay

A few questions worth asking before you book:

  • · How often the apartment is cleaned and the linen changed during your stay.
  • · Working remotely. Every one of our apartments has Wi-Fi; for the rest, tell us how you work and we will point you to the right apartment.
  • · Staggered arrivals and departures if others join you: the team will organise it with you.

Booking direct makes these conversations simple, at the best available rate and with no service fees added to the price. Cancellation is free more than 30 days before arrival.

To begin, browse the collection or read our comparison of apartment and hotel. For a stay of several weeks, the simplest thing is to write to us.
