From CDG or Orly to Your Apartment

Your stay begins as you leave the plane. Private transfer, taxi, RER or airport bus: what each option asks of you, and how to arrive in Paris without giving it a thought.

The first act of a stay in Paris often plays out far from Paris: in an arrivals hall, a taxi queue, an RER platform. It is the most tiring moment of the journey, and the easiest to get wrong. It is best prepared in advance, and that is one of the roles of our concierge.

A private transfer, to arrive without thinking about it

A driver waits for you at the exit, takes your luggage and drops you at the door of the building. It is the calmest option after a long flight, with children or several suitcases, and the only one that spares you any decision at the moment you least want to make one.

Our concierge arranges this transfer, from Charles de Gaulle as from Orly. Simply send us your flight details. The service is available on request; its rate is given to you by the team.

The Paris taxi, from the official ranks

Licensed taxis are taken from the official ranks outside the arrivals halls of both airports, and charge a flat fare into Paris. One piece of advice, and only one: never accept a ride offered by a private individual inside the terminal.

RER and airport buses, for travelling light

From Charles de Gaulle, the RER B reaches central Paris via Châtelet-Les Halles; it suits a solo traveller with cabin baggage, far less a heavily laden arrival, as trains are often full and lifts not always working. The Roissybus links the airport with the Opéra Garnier, which makes it convenient if your apartment is near the Opéra.

From Orly, the Orlybus runs to Denfert-Rochereau, and the OrlyVal connects with the RER B at Antony.

Choosing according to your arrival

  • · A long flight, a family, plenty of luggage: a private transfer, without hesitation.
  • · A daytime arrival, little luggage: an official taxi, or the Roissybus if you are staying near the Opéra.
  • · A solo traveller with one bag: the RER, avoiding rush hour.

In every case, the address matters. From a central apartment, the last stretch is short, and that same evening you can walk to dinner.

Arriving at the apartment

We prepare your arrival with you before you travel: the time, the access, the means of transport. If you land earlier than planned, let us know; we arrange what we can. The welcome is personal, and the team can be reached at any hour throughout your stay.

For the rest of the trip, our guide to getting around Paris takes over. To book your apartment, visit the collection, or write to us to arrange your transfer.
